Bend It Like Beckham
I don’t think I’ve felt this connected to a movie in ages. I’m not even kidding. It was a great movie, and it felt so good; being able to relate it with myself, because today’s stuff are usually always about some teens in some high school and they always have some kind of drama and some lame ~*white girl problems*~ going on, but this movie had a certain depth to it (in between the comedy). I love how they even made fun of how people stereotype South Asians. It was ridiculous but people actually assume those racist things about people from South Asia irl. If I’d say it myself, I’d say they did a fine job with some slight satire in this movie! And then there were of course a lot of “stereotypical” things happening in the movie which were completely true. Especially the mother. Everything she said and did… Gosh, she was just like my mom. It’s almost as if they based the role off of my mom, lol. Also, omfg the last scene in the movie where Joe plays cricket with Jess’ dad. My god, such a feel good moment, man. ;w;
Joe and Jess are totally a canon otp, just sayin’ - I ship ‘em.

I should probably go to sleep now. It’s bloody 4 am. :T
